Redeemed and forgiven...

As far as I can tell, Christmas of 2020 has come and it has also gone.
Yesterday was a quiet today for me. I was alone all day, I made potato salad which was wonderful, and I played piano most of the day. When I have no company or friends to talk to, my piano is my best buddy. I played O Little Town of Bethlehem, Away in a Manger, The First Noel, Go Tell It on the Mountain, Silent Night, and Who At My Door Is Standing? All of those carols are in my dozens of hymnals that I have and I love to play them.
I have played those hymns all my life, at least since I was about five years old and learned how to play piano, and they bring me joy every time.
The Sun is up, and I am going to take my walk down the hall and look at it. I cannot see the sun until about 4 in the afternoon, so the other side of the building has the best view for most of the day.
However, I get the incredible blessing of watching the sunset every night, and that is a value that is immeasurable.
This morning, the news is reporting that there was a big explosion in Nashville yesterday which appears to have been in an intentional explosion on Christmas day. Also, the Today Show just announced that Lexington Kentucky is the coldest spot in the nation at 11 degrees this morning!
Right now it has warmed up to a balmy 12 degrees, and I can't wait to see that sunshine, so I'm going to mosey on down the hall and hope everyone is wearing a mask, and take in God's creation.
Have a lovely day everyone, Kimmy
