This Friday, April 9th, Central Christian Child Care Center will have a Trike-A-Thon to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital. Central's goal in holding this Trike-A-Thon is to help children of the world that are stricken with diseases like cancer and AIDS.
St. Jude Children's Hospital is a world leader in the fight against these diseases, and they have made great progress, but only with the help of people who care and give generously. No one is ever turned away from this hospital and families without insurance are never asked to pay. There are currently 17 children from Fayette County being treated at St. Jude.

The children at Central Christian do laps around the gym on our tricycles or they may bring their own bikes to school (helmets, too). Most children do 20-50 laps and they receive prizes for raising money. The children also receive coloring pages, a trike license & stickers for participating. The classes will hear a story about bike safety tips and discuss the importance of wearing helmets when riding a bike.
