I am so happy tonight. I went to my grandson's graduation party and got to see my in-laws from 40 years ago, listening to my grandson tell me about some of his issues, and most importantly getting a ride in his Honda Civic from Lexington with Sammy at the wheel.
What made me the happiest of the entire day was the fact that my son came up to me and gave me a big hug that was the first thing that happened when I arrived at the graduation party tonouight. That made it worth all the years of not getting to give my son a hug and talk to him like he's the best friend I ever had in my life, which is exactly what Travis is and was and always will be for me.
Travis has his own issues going on with his children both of his daughters are pregnant and expecting happy babies in November and February with their cute husbands they just married last year. His other son Cooper is doing really well in high school and is an excellent wrestler and also an excellent student.

I actually got a few sentences outta Cooper tonight. I found out the Dragon Ball Z shirts that I've been sending to Cooper don't fit him, they are too big.
Now let me just tell you, Cooper is the biggest and tallest man in my family. He is over 6'2", and weighs over 200 lbs, came in second last year in wrestling in the state tournament, and I could not believe he told me that the shirts I've been sending him were too big.

I have been asking for measurements of their chests and their arm lengths and I've been asking for them in centimeters, but I guess I didn't get the correct measurements the last time LOL. At any rate, being able to talk to Cooper who never says a word, and also to ask Melody and Shelby if it's okay if the kids call me Gigi now instead of Mawmaw ... and they were both feel thrilled to death that I asked them and they said yes of course.
To reunite with my family and to have my son treat me like I'm his mother again meant the world to me. I cannot express how thankful I am that I was invited to the party, but Sammy wanted his Gigi to be there and came to Lexington to pick me up and drive 180 miles round trip so I could be there, and to see my son smile again and talk to me was wonderful.
I'm going to say my prayers and thank the good Lord that I'm at the Stay Lodge in Florence, with the air conditioner as loud as it can be in my ear I love it.
God bless you,
peace,
Kimmy
