May Eye?

This is the perfect metaphor for our debacle. Poor Charlie Brown always thinks he is ready to kick the football, Lucy has tricked him into thinking he has it all figured out and he is going to kick a field goal, and she jerks it out before he can kick it. How many of us have a Lucy and our lives? The coronavirus is soooo a devilish viral Lucy!
The worst news in our last day is that a reporter for NBC who is also a medical doctor caught coronavirus on an airplane with his mouth and entire body covered, except his eyes. His eyes were exposed, and he caught coronavirus! Can you believe that it is possible for this deadly disease to get into our system by our tear duct? All of the drugs they're touting to cure this virus are not living up to the wonderful president 45 praises.
My social media friend, Bob Staake,
 makes these cute little
totems, as he calls them. They look like
characters in his books, one which is called
LOOK, A BOOK! He has hundreds of books,
though, and he is a famous dude, I just steal
 pictures from him. LOL
I never liked Trump, I did not like him in 1994. when I had my  double surgery (horrific story), was stuck in the hospital and had to watch Regis & Kathie Lee every morning. I learned to love Regis, but Kathie Lee talked endlessly about Marla Maples and Donald Trump. I never liked him when he was on any talk show, either, he always seemed to be very full of himself, and I don't like that in any one. I took a job working for Tom Dupree at his financial firm, and Tom and his wife loved talking about The Apprentice. Accordingly, I despised Trump even more after all that. Dupree is a real brain trust.
I saw this picture online of Elizabeth Taylor
and Richard Burton, and it cheers me up
so much, I had to post it!
Don't they look groovy?

Now, of course, he is our president, and hopefully he will be defeated in November, but that is if we all live until November! It is disheartening to see the words of ire from many of my friends from my childhood and high school, friends who I considered to be lifetime friends. My cousin who also I consider to be my lifetime friend has stopped speaking to me, because I am one of those members of the media who is a dirty liberal in her eyes.

I am proud to be a liberal, I do not think that is a dirty word. I think pro-life should be changed to pro-poverty. Other than that, my mouth is pretty clean. Speaking of which, I need to go use my electric toothbrush, I ordered it through Medicare, a social program, which is paid for by ME, by my social security. I am mentioning all of that because too many people associate socialism with something bad. Socialism pays for my baby wipes, so I don't have to go out and buy too much toilet paper. I am not a burden on society. I am part of the solution, not the problem.

I am really hoping tonight I will get a great night of sleep. I ordered an air bed and it arrived today, and now I am 6 feet up in the air, planning on removing the mattresses underneath tomorrow. Meanwhile, I am enjoying looking down on Lexington and all of the beautiful surroundings especially around Good Samaritan Hospital and the University of Kentucky campus. It's not that much higher, but three feet is a big difference when you're in a little apartment ten stories above downtown.

Do I want to watch the news? To tell you the truth, I want to know every fact I can find out, but I have to turn on Big Bang Theory, and laugh for a minute.

I wish everyone the best, and
peace,
Kimmy
