Yesterday, I put all of my essential belongings in my friend's Scion and he drove me to Cincinnati, where I finally applied for my apartment, and after MUCH ado,, was accepted!
It was a tough day, let me tell you. I am not the girl I used to be; I cannot do things for 20 hours and still run a marathon.
Back in the day, I ran track, played football, soccer and any other sport that was available to a girl in Conner High School.
I was in an honors society, and I graduated at the top of my class ... well about 5th ... LOL.
At any rate, I'm glad to be here in Cincinnati, even though I am pretty much all alone. My friends Dick and John David gave me some things yesterday that helped me feel more at home.
I now have a beautiful chair and some lovely soft linens for my pillows. I did not bring my bed, did not bring any furniture so I very much feel like I am stranded on a desert island except that island faces east and it is has wooden floors lol.
I'm glad to be here in Oakley, but last night was a little lonely, although truthfully, every night is. I slept on my friend's futon mattress which he loaned me until we can get my mattress up here. I'm strong, I just need to endure.
I ask you to please pray for me.
love,
Kimmy
