Happy Groundhogs Day!

So, it is Groundhog's Day, and I did see on the TODAY shoe that Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow! However, Al Roker disputes that the Towne Crier actually saw the shadow, says it's overcast and snowing in Punxsutawney! More later, film at 11...
At any rate, several who are my favorite people in the world were born on this day. First of all my very first father-in-law, James Elliston. He as it turns out was my fifth cousin seven times removed! According to Ancestry, that is. Ancestry knows a lot, apparently I'm a descendant of Jane Seymour. I'll take it!
So today is the birthday of Mr. Elliston, and also my best friend from the fourth grade, Jackie Gatliff Burke. when we were in the ninth grade, Jackie and I were best girls at a truck stop together. We have a lot of memories, and all of them are good! I set her up with her first boyfriend, Steve Skerchock, in high school. Steve was the school photographer, and as a result, I am on nearly every page in the senior yearbook LOL. Jackie lives in Denver, and for that, I really am jealous of her.
Another lady I adore and worked with at Stites and Harbison, is Leigh Gattozzi Bailey. She is also a groundhog day birth child! I loved working with her at the law firm, and I still love her to this day.
I am excited to be moving to Cincinnati soon! I am packing my things and throwing out stuff that I don't need, giving most of it away. It is a cleansing ritual, although I wish it was the ritual instead of a chore at this point. However, I am excited to plan to be around my family and friends again. 🌇
On this day of this pandemic, I wish you well, ask you to wear your mask, stay safe, clean your paws, and keep away from everyone ... at least six feet! Love, Kimmy
