Day of Chaos

Today, I witnessed quite a scene. History found a nasty chapter in D.C.
Our president incited his crowd to follow him to the Capitol , where they marched and broke through the security and went in and invaded the sacred hall, after Trump ended up getting them all stirred up. He did not even walk with them, he fooled them into thinking he was going ... and now, one person has been shot inside the US Capitol building by law enforcement. It was a lady who was a protestor or whatever you can call these domestic terrorists who took over our Capitol building today it is incredible.
The news people broke in before my soap opera, Days of Our Lives, came on at 1, so I missed seeing whether or not the lady who is kidnapped the other day got out ... but still to suddenly see the news taken over by this event in DC today was shocking. I haven't been this frightened about our national security since 9/11.
Somehow bad people got into the capitol today and they had to evacuate all of our Senators and House of Representatives.
They didn't get to finish the vote count of the Electoral College on the presidential election. People were taken in underground tunnels away from the Capitol building... and the TV showed protestors sitting around in the offices -- and in the Senate main stateroom, where it look like my brothers breaking into my room and had taken everything of value. It was the most invasive feelings, seeing those people storm the capitol today. Grrrrrr I am pretty devastated, as I am sure everyone who witnessed what I did feels. The Washington mayor said, "there will be Law and Order and this Behavior will not be tolerated." Trump released a short video saying that the election was stolen, but everybody needed to go home. It was a piss-poor explanation to his MAGA crazy people. pray for peace, Kimmy
