Been to Hell and back!

I have been to Hell and back this past week. I have battled a number of tasks in my life, but the battle of the bedbugs is probably the worst I have ever faced. My neighbor four doors down died in August, they did not find his body until September, and ever since that happened, I have been waking up with bites on my body.
At first, I did not believe I had bed bugs. I have seen them before and the building is famous for harboring them, in fact. My good friend Tommy Eisenhauer says bed bugs are worse than cancer, and he has had testicular cancer at that! He is right.
At any rate, these bed bugs had saturated my mattress and lovely mattress pad and the box springs. I got rid of the mattress pad first then the mattress, straining and struggling and groaning and actually farting a little bit to get it out of the door and into the stairwell, where those bugs could no longer bother me, I thought...still, they lingered around.
Desperate for sleep, I blew up my air bed, which was the only good thing I bought with the stimulus money we got last spring. It was the smartest item I ever bought in my life. It was the wisest buy I ever made. My air bed is comfortable, the bugs will not burrow themselves into its fibers, and it provides the same amount of comfort every night, regardless.
I'm thrilled to death to have my air bed. So, tonight I will sleep. I will sleep nice and comfortably well on my air bed. I need to do laundry and buy some kind of sheet to protect me from the cold vinyl surface of the air bed, but I am sitting pretty pretty right now. God bless America! Oh, and Joe Biden ~ He is going to be the president of the United States in 2021! ♡
Peace to everyone, Kimmy
