What IS Normal?

Well, it is October 13th, and we are still in the spike of the coronavirus in my area. Everyone is doing better than I am, it seems, at setting a schedule and keeping it.

I stay in bed all day and watch TV. It is the safest place for me to be, so I watch all the soap operas and game shows and news magazines until finally, at last, Stephen Colbert comes on at 11:30 p.m. and saves me from a day of awful news about terrible people that we elected.

I entertain myself by thinking I know more than all of the politicians who are running for election, and 2020, the most unusual year any of us have ever lived, if we are lucky enough indeed to live through this entire year.

I watch Cosmos, Nova, anything having to do with science I love, and with a new format, I have yet to figure out how to put captions underneath my photographs within the blog, so please forgive me for admitting their description. In this day and age of coronavirus, everything is self-explanatory.

This little memo is simply my way of affirming my existence on this miserable Planet. Lord, save us from ourselves!

Peace and love,

Kimmy
