Time to Wash

Capricorn sighting

My very first job involved washing. I was a dishwasher at Boone Aire Country Club, in Boone County, Kentucky.

Jim Gleason with magic Guitar!

It was a beautiful set of acres belonging to Dr. Floyd Poore, for whom I babysat -- before he subdivided his land into a country club.

My first job washing dishes was also alongside Charlie Kenner, whose father was the manager of the club at the time. Charlie mentioned to me that they wanted to sell their homemi cocktail LOL.

Washing dishes was not the best job I've ever had, but it did teach me to get a better education and get a job where I wasn't washing dirty dishes every morning that have been sitting out all night. As a matter of fact that's the way my life seems to be  right now. I am washing up the dishes that have been sitting out all night.

God bless you,

peace,

Kimmy
