It's a Mad World!

Bad news today, Lisa Marie Presley's son shot himself in the head and killed himself. Lisa Marie is devastated, of course.

A friend of ours killed himself about a year ago. He was a bartender and everybody loved him, but he was very shy very quiet. He shook the best martini in town, but again the man never said anything to me, and I'm the most talkative person I know. I know because I told myself that.

A few weeks ago I talked to my son, and he is intensely worried about his son, because he is 18 and has a mind of his own and wants to do wild things.

We need to tell our children that no matter what they do, nothing will ever separate our love for them. Our children need to know that even if they make mistakes, even if we get angry with them and say words that are not so nice, even when they make mistakes that cause their grades to fail or that cause them to change career direction, we need to let them know we are on their side, we've got their back, and anytime they're in trouble to always call.

It is the one lost sheep Jesus is missing, that Our Father Shepherd seeks!

To my son and his children and his wife, I love you I love your family I love your family to be, and I'm moving closer to them very soon. So please have a dozen roses on the table when I enter my new pad, okay? LOL just kidding.
