Fry Day!

On Friday, I like to fry. Usually it's an egg, or possibly a hamburger  or chicken tender, and tonight that's what it will be. I'm cooking chicken with noodles & Rona virus era gravy. Pandemic is pretty pretty depressing.

This has been a pretty decent week, but my two of my heroes from my childhood died, Carl Reiner and Hugh Downs.

My parents watched NBC news, so Hugh Downs was who I heard everything about the death of John F Kennedy, he was my source for the News. From everything I saw, Hugh Downs researched and confirmed everything he ever said on air. That was in the time when you couldn't become a news journalist that got on air if you told lies and slanted everything your way. Those were the days yeah. That's why when people make fun of the media, or call it fake news, or discount journalists for their work it really pisses me off.

Carl Reiner was the best person in the world to follow on Twitter. He was 99 years old, and sharp as a tack, and constantly getting up in 45s grill. I followed him for probably the last five or six years, and I'm so glad!

However, knowing that life is short and getting a reminder, it makes one pause to consider if they have choices to make. I have some choices, and I'm going to have to decide sooner or later whether or not to stay where I live now or move.

I love my apartment, I love the view of the sun going down over Calvary Baptist Church, I love the economy of living at Rose Tower, but there are quite a few people who put me to the test if I just take a bag to the garbage chute.
Those people are not the best neighbors in the world.
Therefore, I do not take my trash out very often!

I pile it until it seems that I'm collecting garbage. I better go take some out right now, thanks for listening.

Peace to all,
Kimmy
