This Monday on WoodSongs: The Blind Boys of Alabama are Back! (call 252.8888 for reservations)

Over the last 10 years, I have seen a lot of fantastic performers on the WoodSongs stage, but few are as memorable as the Blind Boys of Alabama. Their harmonies are uplifting, the vibe is spiritually powerful, and the music is overwhelmingly joyful.

Join host Michael Johnathon this Monday when he and his all-volunteer crew welcome them back to WoodSongs Old-Time Radio  Hour at the Kentucky Theatre.

WoodSongs is the best thing that ever happened to a Monday :)

THE BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA return to the WoodSongs stage with a brand new album "Take The High Road." The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. Celebrated by The Grammys and The National Endowment for the Arts with Lifetime Achievement Awards and winners of five Grammy® Awards, they have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans over 60 years and shows no signs of diminishing. Their new CD "Take The High Road" features country legends Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, The Oak Ridge Boys, Leann Womack, Hank Williams, Jr., and Jamey Johnson. Blindboys.com
