WoodSongs Pays Tribute to Music From American Gulf

Monday, August 16th - WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour:

Celebration of Music from America's Gulf Region!
New Orleans Pelicans' Addison R. Thomas once
pitched a double-header, and won both games!
Do you know what it means, to miss New Orleans?  Well, I do. I la-la-la-love N'awlins for a lot of reasons...for its music, art, food, history, and sports (after all, my Grandpa pitched for the New Orleans  Pelicans :) - but most of all, I miss New Orleans' music.  It's been a while since I've visited, but but the memory is just as vivid as ever.  You can walk down Bourbon Street, or anywhere in the French Quarter, and hear music that inspires and tickles whatever your fancy may be.
So imagine my delight when I learned that tomorrow's WoodSongs  will feature two wonderful artists from America's Gulf region!  It's gonna be a hot time in the ol' downtown tomorrow night, peppered with a spicy mix of Cajun and Creole -- take a look at the particulars below, and call the 252.8888 reservation line to ensure your seat for tomorrow night's concert.  Remember, if for any reason you can't make it, you can still watch the live broadcast at woodsongs.com or go to that site and click on the 'archives' to enjoy it at a later date.
