Next WoodSongs: Robin & Linda Williams and Si Kahn

ROBIN & LINDA WILLIAMS return to the WoodSongs stage with a brand new CD on Red House Records called Buena Vista. The couple met in 1971 and the two debuted on A Prairie Home Companion back in 1975. Their association with the popular public radio program landed them on major stages from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl. They have collaborated on several CDs with Garrison Keillor, and were prominently featured in the 2006 film "A Prairie Home Companion," directed by the late master filmmaker Robert Altman. Their compositions have been recorded by the likes of Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tom T. Hall, Kathy Mattea, Tim and Mollie O'Brien, George Hamilton IV, The Seldom Scene, and Irish singer Mary Black.

Si KahnSI KAHN has a busy 2010 planned. Si will be releasing his 16th CD titled Courage on Strictly Country Records. The CD features the superb production and playing of Jens Krüger of the Krüger Brothers and harmonies and liner notes contributed by country music legend Kathy Mattea. His latest book Creative Community Organizing is a unique blend of guide and memoir, drawing from his staggering 45 years as a community, civil rights and labor organizer. This year he will be doing his most ambitious U.S. concert tour ever. It will focus on reconnecting with fans of many years, both personal and organizational; making new friends; sharing a host of recent songs in a warm concert setting; and raising funds to help ensure the organization's sustainability after his retirement. sikahn.com
