Holler Poets Series 17 Tomorrow Night at Al's!

Holler's creator, Eric Sutherland will host the 17th installment of the Holler Poets Series tomorrow night at Al's Bar & Grill, corner of 6th & Limestone.

Holler and Al's won the 2009 Ace Weekly Best of Lex award for Best Place to Hear Poetry!

Sutherland and his crowd of literary enthusiasts will welcome the return of Affrilachian poet Bianca Spriggs and Lexington native Chris Green.

John Harden Pope, who also plays with the Big Maracas and other projects, will be performing solo.

This event is free and best of all, it's hip and it's happening, so I hope to see you all at Al's, where the beer is cheap, but the poetry is rich.

Open mic starts at 8pm with a limited number of openings available....and again, it is always FREE.
