You Talkin' To Me?

by Kim Thomas

There is really no good excuse for my absence from Kimmyville of late, but I've been a little scattered the past few days for some reason and haven't collected enough thoughts worthy of sharing with you.

However, I promise a Derby post very soon wherein you will find many a good nugget of info. There are a few great websites, twitterers and my own list of favorite horses that I can provide in order for you to have the best dang Derby ever, whether you make the trek to Kentucky or not for the first Saturday in May.

In the meantime, there is some good news on the horizon as Holler Poets Series returns to Al's tomorrow night.

What is known as the "liveliest literature event in the region" will feature Donna Ison, who will be promoting her new book, The Miracle of Myrtle, and Poezia member Jude Lally.

Music by Warren Byrom of Swells and Big Maracas fame. (For all you fans of Sunny Montgomery, chances are she will be there too :)

An open mic starts the show.

The photos are just for shiggles... ;-)

pray for peace,

Kimmy
