Arts and Activism

by Kim Thomas

Welcome to my town, KimmyVille!

I want KimmyVille to be a voice for those who devote their lives to their passions. I will find ways to lift you up when you face diversity, and cheer you on when you are up front and center in this stage we call Life.

I will seek peace, justice and the KimmyVille way :) (yup, I use smiley faces :)

If you love art in any form, whether it be music, singing, drama, poetry, visual art, video art -- any kind of artistic expression, let me know what is on your heart. I will also be watching for sports news, events that are enjoyed by young and old.

Since sunlight is the best antiseptic, I will shed light on the issues of the day that impact you, your children and your parents. If you are an activist who has a social conscience, give me your issues and events so I may embrace your ideas and give them support!

Since this is my first post on KimmyVille, I want to keep it short and sweet, but join me here often to see that latest on what is going on in Lexington and the Bluegrass. I will strive to find the best of the best and provide you with an avenue to get the most out of the culturally conscious folks in the Bluegrass.
peace,
Kimmy
