As turkeys thaw, so does my cold cold heart. I'm not going to cook food but will bake up some musical melodies as Advent approaches.
Yesterday my Lexington Chancel Choir sang, Look At the World, which was always an honor and privilege to sing at Central Christian Church. To stand among my choir family and enjoy the musicality of that anthem with Michael Rintamaa at the glorious piano every Thanksgiving Sunday was a delight that I can only praise.
As I prepare for the long-awaited holiday, I'm happy my attempt to start a choir is such a success. The gentle souls who join in our song have lifted my spirits. They're hopeful voices, not loud at all, but eager to sing, God bless them!
Rumor has it the choir is all the talk in the hallways of Cambridge Arms, and I'm uber glad to be in the midst of musical talk lol. People join choir when they see me on the elevator, and I'm a merry little rebel!
I only need more music at this point, which is a beautiful thing!
Please pray for my new choir, y'all, and pray for
Peace
Kimmy
