Keep It Simple, Stupid!

Simplicity is not elusive.

Keeping the recipe to life at a minimum keeps the hurry away and that is something we should ruthlessly eliminate: hurry.

Unless you're a horse ready to race the Kentucky Derby, you should terminate the voice that tells you to hurry. Hurry causes strife that leads to woe.

Woe no more, okay? Whenever I find myself worrying, I wonder if it's due to my urge to hurry.
At the end of 1.5 years of the pandemic of a lifetime, in the first month of a life changing event, I do make myself stop and take a breath. Why am I stressed, and can I make it go away?

In everyone's life, there are times when control makes a difference. If I am being pressured to do something, it's important to recall that I DO possess the power to help myself, and that is to kick hurry to the curb lol.

Tonight, I have had a fabulous three-bean salad and thoroughly relished the Olympic opening ceremony. Ergo, I have relaxed and been fed, entertained, and enjoyed the protein buzz derived therein. Even though my resources are slim, I know God is my refuge and strength! I will catch up, eventually, but until I do, my Shepherd will supply my need.
I hope y'all have a lovely evening!

Peace,

Kimmy
