Got the Job!

I applied this past weekend at THE ICON, and today had an interview. I'm pleased they hired me, and I'm waiting further instruction, which will arrive via email. Also, I'll be tending bar at the Taft Theatre.

When I moved back to Cincinnati,  I didn't bring much, just the bare essentials. I've gone three weeks without any money, and figure protein would be a good thing to have on hand lol.

So the interviewer told me, "age is just a number," and I was uber thrilled to hear that.

When one ages, employers consider over 50 to be "old." Quite frankly, that really sucks. I'm a lot older than over 50, so it super sucks when I realize it.

I'm waiting for an email to instruct me further. I think the ICON will begin its identity as a music venue with the Foo Fighters on July 28, and though I know none of their songs, I'm ready to rock, lambchops!

Pray for peace,

Kimmy
