Shot In Armchair
I finally got my first vaccination of the coronavirus yesterday! I had complained to our apartment manager that other senior housing Lexington were having vaccinations, and she laughed at me. After two or three months of everyone else in the world getting vaccinated, it was announced last week that we would be getting the Pfizer shot yesterday!
I am so glad that I complained like my grandma Tommy about how they can have doctors visit to inspect and treat look at our feet once a month, but they can't give us a shot?
When secretary Jim Gray became in charge of the Covid Task force in Kentucky, I knew the vaccinations would step up. Jim Gray fixed the Brent Spence Bridge in record time!
I am so impressed with my state right now, I'm proud to be a Kentucky. However, I will complain since that's what I do here in my little Blog. The lady 3 doors down has not worn a mask during the entire pandemic year has told me today she is not going to bother to get the vaccine after all!
.
I will be so thankful to move away from this building.
I have made the best of my time here, and I am thankful I moved so very close to Central Christian Church. It has been a sentry for me as downtown Lexington, Central has. It protects me when I walk by and it also protects me when I am away from its Carillon Tower.
So, here I am it is after 10 on Wednesday night , and I am feeling 100% better than I did on Tuesday night. I know the second shot will be harder to take than this one so I need to steel myself for that.
I ask again tonight that you please say a little prayer for me,
love,
Kimmy
