My sweet granddaughter, Shelby, had her baby! Yesterday around 3 in the afternoon, she had her baby boy, Brody. He was ove OPr 8 lbs and 21in, and everyone is doing well!
I know Shelby and Austin are excited to welcome him into her family and they love him to the moon and back already. It is the sweetest family situation I've ever seen! I'm so happy for Shelby and her new family.
Last night, I sent her some flowers from the famous Swan florist in Erlanger. My mother used to take the church's vessels to fill for Florence Christian church every week. She would drop off her column at the Dixie News along the way.
So I called them last night and had them send over a little toy wagon or something with "it's a boy" on it. I hope I get to see a picture of it someday!
I'm going to be in Florence on the 9th, I hope I can get to see my grandchildren while I'm there.
