Judging Amy
Well, they finally confirmed and swore in Trump's pro-life Supreme Court Justice to replace the Notorious RBG.
I have not blogged much enough these past couple of days. I have been more than depressed, I have been deflated and entirely surprised by the overblown pride of the Republican Party in rushing through this very nice lady it seems to become the next Supreme Court justice of our United States Supreme Court.
As a side note, she looks like Nicole Kidman. So, when they finally do the movie about all this malarkey, that's who should play her in the big-screen version of the narrative.
I went to work for an administrative law judge in 1986. He was a coal mine owner and strip mine operator, yet when he had a case that involved mining, he did put his beliefs to the side and ruled on the side of the law. So, I have to say, this lady seems as if she will be impartial. I know my Democratic friends are all upset about her becoming confirmed as the justice, but I think when someone becomes a judge it does put upon them the shroud of decency and looking at the constution and not their Bibles when they make a decision. I certainly hope that is the point in Amy Coney's case.
Meanwhile, the election is a week away, they confirmed her, swore her in, and Mitch McConnell left town and went on another vacation. He does not care about anything but himself and his donors. We all know the Democrats can even out the court if they want to and stack it up with candidates that are leaning their way.
Anything can happen in America. Ain't That America? Peace and love and human rights, Kimmy
