Happiness Is Not Dead

Kimmy 1962

Well here we are, in the 900th day of the worldwide pandemic known as The Rona here in Lexington. I say here in Lexington, but I don't represent Kentucky or any of its cities.

However, I like that expression and The Rona is not too germs with bubbles c

oming out of it sounding.

My soap opera continues to fascinate me and disappoint me every day. I of course have to tune in tomorrow to see what's going to happen with Marlena and John and yes, even Stefano.

Stefano's picture hangs on the wall, with a light over at like my father had Adolph Rupp's portrait in an our family room out on Kensington Way.

The portrait of a man who has died with a light shining on it just scares the ever-living hell out of me. I don't feel comforted, I don't feel like I need to honor it and cherish it, and they need to write Stefano out of the picture yet  he will never die, even though the actor died almost 10 years ago I think.

Generali Hospital still is watchable but I don't pay any attention to its daily broadcast because it's the same stuff all the time, even though some of my old All My Children favorite actors are coming back in their General Hospital incarnation.

So the hour after 1 to 2 well beginning at 2, television gets a little boring for me, even though I keep General Hospital on in case somebody gets killed LOL. Then Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will come on it sometime after that and then I wait till the news comes on and start my evening again, listening to Deaths the numbers of the deaths covid 19, and wondering about my child and his children, and what the hell is for supper? I'm a pretty good cook, but tonight it's either pork roast or chicken soup. I'm kind of happy that I have something to choose from, and actually they're both very good, but I get bored with my own cooking every once in awhile.0

Wishing you a tasty dinner!

Peace,

Kimmy
