The best news of this week is that Boone County public school system has made the decision to go to complete remote learning instead of in present learning. That means my grandson will be able to learn at home, which he is perfectly capable of doing as a junior in high school. I really feel for the parents of young children, those especially who don't know how to teach school to them, and also those who are fed up with taking care of kids after January 1st of this year.
It has been a real zonker of a year, one friend of mine lost four cousins who all were in the same family, and worked in a healthcare facility.

Today we are nearing the peak of the coronavirus in Kentucky, it looks like it, at least. I can only hope that around the corner there is some form of vaccination so that we can resume to some normalcy in our life. I was on the phone with Social Security all day trying to get them to reimburse me for the money they have taken from my social security check since December. So, besides the coronavirus, I have had to deal with the government taking $150 out of my little tiny social security check every month since Christmas time.

It has been a rough year, and I can only imagine that next year will not be any better. I stopped drinking about 6 or 7 months ago, not for any particular reason, just because I didn't want to spend the money on the alcohol anymore, but I'm thinking about a bottle of scotch and imbibing it right now. Lol I mean not right now ... not the whole bottle. But I sure would like a shot of that stuff... 🍹
