Happy birthday to my baby sister

I want to take this opportunity to wish my baby sister, Kelli Thomas, a very happy birthday.

For years, my two older sisters left a lot to be desired in the  sister Department.

I seemingly was left behind on a country dirt. Haircuts by my sisters made me look like Picasso paintings and oh ... my older sister decided she would have to tell me I was adopted AND retarded.

She also had to know - in the biblical way - all my boyfriends before it was all over. I couldn't wait for a baby sister to be born. In 1963, my baby sister was born in the middle of July, the day before my older brother's birthday. We always competed for birthdays, like my brother Addison and I did on July I mean December 29th and 30th.

We always had to share cake and we never really got a birthday party December 29th and 30th are too close to other holidays, and so there was never an opportunity to invite friends over for a birthday party.

Okay, enough of this pity party. I actually had a pretty good bringing up, my birthday was right after Christmas so I naturally got tweaked on that holiday, and every year we would drive to Miami to see my grandmother over the Christmas holiday. That was wonderful. Life is wonderful.
Celebrate it while you can!

Love and peace,
Kimmy
