SHIVAREE to be considered for Belmont

SHIVAREE, a chestnut colt by Awesome of Course and out of Garter Belt will be considered for the Belmont Stakes on June 20th, 2020, trainer Ralph Nicks told the Daily RacingForm on Wednesday that he was ready to have another go at it after SHIVAREE came in second in the Florida Derby (Grade 1) to TIZ THE LAW. The Florida Derby, like the abbreviated Belmont, is also 1 1/8 miles.

SHIVAREE is owned by Fred Brei's Jacks or Better Farm in Florida. The colt also took the G3 Swale Stakes, which is only seven furlongs, however he had an impressive run and also won the Limehouse Stakes at Gulfstream Park; he's won over a half a million dollars already and out of 10 races he has three Wins and four Place showings.

It looks like SHIVAREE  may have a chance to win the Belmont! He is just the first horse I'm going to start watching. What else do I have to do? LOL
