Finally, I feel like I am going to be well someday soon. Is that not a great feeling?
Also, I also took care of myself by ordering some perfume, and it arrived just now. It is Eternity, by Calvin Klein and it is so wonderful. It smells a lot like C'est la vie, by Christian Lacroix. It smells so reminiscent of my days of watching Absolutely Fabulous, and ordering everything I could that was made by LaCroix. LOL at any rate, it is a nice feeling to be able to look forward to perhaps sleeping well tonight, as well as smelling good, while doing so! LOL.
There is a lot of good that can come from self care, and having self-compassion. I have a minister friend who specializes in that sort of thought, and she guides me from time to time to consider myself instead of others. I grew up in the 60s, when we thought the best thing you could be was selfless. I do not want to ever be considered as a selfish person, but I do like to consider my circumstances in this scheme of the universe these days. After all, I am a senior citizen, I have already lived three years longer than my mother did, and I am looking at the last quarter-century of my life. There are a lot of things I could be doing, but mostly, I am going to rest, play piano, and write. I have nothing else to do, so why not? Okay, and I will also enjoy the sunset, every night! Praise be to God, I'm still alive, thanks to our governor Andy Beshear, and my health is going to improve soon. I just know it too.
