The Squirrels Get Frisky Again ... This Saturday at CCI!

If you love vintage music performed by some of the area's finest, you will want to get yourself to the Chevy Chase Inn this Saturday night to enjoy another appearance by the ever-elusive-yet-seemingly-everywhere Squirrels.

There's no cover. There's no hassle. It's just plain ol' good music with this marvelous band that includes such noteworthy virtuosos as Wanda Barnett, Rex Hart, Roger BonDurant, JP Pennington, Bob Goff ... and more!

When Roger BonDurant sings a song, it's like you've
heard for the very first time. He makes each song his
own as his voice caresses each lyric and his guitar paints
the text with string accompaniment.

I was tickled to see them for the first time in December of last year, and it was well worth it to make my way through the snow and rain to see them perform a few more times since then.

If you want to know more, just take a scroll through Kimmyville and you'll find profiles on many of the band members, who were kind enough to share a little about themselves with me.

The fabulous singer, fiddle player, educator and all 'round
good gal,Wanda Barnett and me -- she even yodels, for
gosh' sakes... gotta love her!

Lucky me :)
