Wellspring!

This Sunday, January 23, Central Christian Church will offer a new way to celebrate the Lord's Day with Wellspring.  All are invited to attend this worship with praise music led by a band replete with guitars as well as piano and yes, even a drum set! 


With an infusion of more songs and music, the service will be harmonically different than Sunday mornings in an effort to bolster faith in a decidedly musical way. The welcoming and casual program will also include communion, and those who gather will hear Scripture and a sermon. Chris Teesdale, one of the organizers says, "We will also have a moment for a lay person each Wellspring to share their testimony. To talk about their faith and their experience at Central."

Although Wellspring is not yet a weekly event, it is an invitation to join in a casual Sunday afternoon service that sings praises to God and rejoices in all the joy that can be found in following Jesus of Nazareth, in keeping with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) tradition of welcoming everyone to the table of the Lord.
