AGL Rings in the New Year with Dead Man's Cell Phone

An incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café.  A stranger at the next table who has had enough.  And a dead man with a lot of loose ends.  So begins DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, a wildly imaginative new comedy by MacArthur "Genius" Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist, Sarah Ruhl.  A work about how we memorialize the dead -- and how that remembering changes us -- it is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption, and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world.  Directed by Eric Seale, DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE kicks off Actors Guild's 27th Season at their brand-new space in the South Elkhorn Village.

AGL has found a new home in the South Elkhorn Village on Old Harrodsburg Road.  Located behind Ramsey's, this new performance area will host our 27th Season, as well as serve as a venue for other performing arts organizations in Lexington.

AGL invites you to join them at their Opening Night Party on January 13th!  After you see the show, enjoy some food and live music, mingle with the cast, meet the directors of AGL's upcoming shows, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS and BELLE BREZING, and pitch suggestions for AGL's fifth show of the season.  Actors Guild's 27th Season promises to be the best season yet, so come celebrate with us!
