As a singer, Parrish wraps her voice around and lyric and delivers it like nobody's business -- she has the power, the passion and the performance prowess to thrive in such a role. For those of us who didn't have the good fortune to see her last year, it's an exciting chance to hear such classics as I'll Go Out Walkin... and Crazy, You belong to me, and Won't You Come Home, Bill Bailey? -- all sung by this wonderful singer songwriter who is not only a dynamic musician, she's a great friend and even better mother.
Heather tells me she is exuberant about returning to her Patsy persona. "To be given this opportunity to bring back even a small amount of the Always ...Patsy Cline musical is absolutely the greatest honor. Patsy Cline was an original ... a legend among women vocalists, to say the least. As an actress and professional sin
ger myself, I can hardly contain the excitement of portraying this musical icon once again. I pray this will not be the last time. Also, I must say, to share the stage with quite a few of the original performers, including my fiancé Billy Mason, the lead guitarist for the original play brings back the most tender of memories, especially since I was carrying our little baby boy, Billy Jude throughout the entire run of the show at Studio Players. His tiny face lights up everytime I start singing 'you belong to me.' "
