WoodSongs: Holly Williams & The Farewell Drifters

On Monday, May 24th, WoodSongs welcomes Holly Williams and The Farewell Drifters.

HOLLY WILLIAMS returns to WoodSongs with a brand new CD "Here With Me" on Mercury Nashville. Holly never realized the influence of her dad and grandfather Hank Williams, Sr. until she embarked on her own musical explorations. Holly has been using music to tell the story of her life and those around her for the better part of two decades.  More info:  hollywilliams.com

THE FAREWELL DRIFTERS are one of the most powerful, striking new bands in Bluegrass, a young quintet that plays with the intensity of Mountain Heart and the fire of the New Grass Revival and, in the words of one gushing reviewer, they are "making folk music hip again." thefarewelldrifters.com
