A Kentucky Christmas Chorus

Have you have written your letter to Santa,  braved the Nicholasville Road traffic to shop at the Mall, wrapped everything in sight with garland and lights, but still feel an Ebeneezer Sneeze coming on?

If you are wondering when and if you are ever going to find your Christmas spirit, you might just want to try singing your way into the Holiday mood!

After all, when we sing, we pray twice: once in music; once in words.  (I totally pinched that from St. Augustine, but I figure he'll forgive me :)

So next Tuesday, get your smile on and head on downtown for caroling on a grand scale!  Sing along to your favorite holiday tunes performed by the Lexington Philharmonic, Lexington Singers, and SCAPA Children's Chorus at Rupp Arena.

The event is Tuesday, December 15, the doors open @ 6pm, and the music starts @ 7:30pm.  This is a great way to spend some time with your family and rejoice in  the miracle of the season...and it's FREE!

If you cannot make it downtown for the Chorus, you can enjoy the live broadcast at 8pm on CWKYT-TV/WYMT-TV Channel 57 and Mix 94.5.  Then on Christmas Day, watch the re-broadcast at noon on WKYT-TV Channel 27.

All you have to do is show up or turn on your radio or television. It's the easiest, cheapest way to help Christmas find its way into your heart.

pray for peace,
Kimmy
