Flattening the Curve

We have all been trying to flatten the curve, the curve on the graph of covid-19. Kentucky is doing well, we are not gathering in big groups like they are in other states, and our governor has been straight-up honest with us from the get-go. He has a press conference every day at 5, and listening to him calmed our souls, and we feel as if what we are doing in the state of Kentucky is an act of humanity. We are saving the lives of those who are the most vulnerable and most likely to die from the Coronavirus.

I am watching the evening news, and the numbers for tonight or a little bit encouraging for the state of Kentucky. It seems as if we are finally beginning to defeat this terrible disease that has settled itself into the very being of the humans that comprise the population.

There are protesters who are trying to interrupt the governor when he has these press conferences. They seem to be Trump supporters, they wear the Maga hats, and they shout stupid things, which all I'm just belligerent movements that prove they don't have peace on their minds.

The news people are telling me that the Breeders Cup is still going to be held at Keeneland in November. It will be interesting to see how Keeneland manages a hundred thousand people squeezing together after a major worldwide pandemic. If any organization can put their head in the sand and pretend that it didn't happen, it is Keeneland. That is for sure. The aristocracy of the Bluegrass is so arrogant they will ignore everything to make that Almighty dollar.
Last night I took this from my bed!
