Hump Day?

Remember back in the days when we used to go to work?
Hump Day Camel with a silver earring

Remember when Wednesday was hump day, the middle of the week, that if you could just get over it you were good to go? Well, now we're suffering from a worldwide pandemic, nobody can go out, nobody can visit, everything is upset. But Wednesday still arrives, doesn't it?
This kitty says it all!
So back to Hump Day, I found the perfect photo of Girl With a Silver Earring for this day years ago and now my goal is to find it lol. Be back...okay better.

So the biggest thing I have realized most lately is the fact that nothing will ever be the same.

I don't think even a year from now, my choir will be singing like it used to. I don't think we will be able to gather and sing the beautiful anthems that we have sung in the past.

I made a decision a few years ago that my funeral will not be filled with the many anthems I've marked a bucket on, but I want a very simple service with my cremated ashes and just a brief memorial before the ashes are taken care of by whomever.

I used to always draw a bucket on the front of every anthem we would sing, because they are all so lovely, and I wanted my choir to remember me by singing them all at my funeral.
These are two of my favorite people ever!

After losing two brothers in the last 7 years and surviving my third brother living with me off and on for five years, I have decided my life is a very empty and shallow one. I don't have a lot of friends, I don't affiliate with my family a lot, and my grandchildren may come to see me, but my son never does.

The coronavirus has punctuated my life in a way that tells me I need to pay more attention. I have been much too complacent for much too long.

There is an important lesson in life that we need to learn before we get too old. We need to reach out to people, help them smile, tell them that they help make your day. I'm going to do more of that now.

Once again, I have nothing important to say, but I had some thoughts on my heart that I wanted to express. When I started my blog over 10 years ago, I was blogging about Derby horses and making political statements and Tim Davis from BCTC asked me to cover his theatrical department's
productions, and I was only happy to do it.

In the meantime, my computer has been "fixed" by a friend which means it is broken now, and I write everything on my Android phone. Thank the Lord for speech to text. And editing!

In the name of editing, have a great day,
peace,
Kimmy
