Hump Day

Remember when Wednesday was hump day? Remember when it was the middle of the week and if you could just get over that day, you could make it the whole week? Remember when we used to go to work? It seems like forever ago, doesn't it?

Finally blooming! 

It is 5 and I am watching Governor Andy Beshear warn everyone to keep abiding by his 10 principles to keep the coronavirus from spreading. He is trying to flatten the curve, and I totally respect him. Most of my neighbors have received their Federal economic stimulus money, but my bank account still says $0.14. I suspect it will remain that way until the 22nd of April, when my social security check arrives.

It is difficult to remain positive in a time where your cabinet is bare, your bank account is laughing at you, and the thought of meat is a wish.

I do have a bag full of catfish fillets in the freezer, I am going to make a fish chowder! Pray for me, will you?
