Graduated!

Have you graduated yet? Are your days of laboring over and you find yourself ready to Move on to new horizons?

I saw many images this week of happy children who were promoted to the next grade with their caps and gowns. My youngest grandson, COOPER ELLISTON, graduated from Conner High School, where I graduated in 1972!

Cooper is an award winning wrestler for Conner, and tackled football there as well!

This is our 50th year celebration, the class of 1972, and in August we'll have a sweet reunion with the class of Boone County, where we all went our Sophomore year, before Conner opened in Hebron.

The Thomas family had moved closer to Hebron than Florence, and though the new modern house at Boone-Aire was wonderful, we were nostalgic. Well, I know that's true of MYSELF anyway lol.

So, why am I yammering on about all that? Because my spirit has been shaken after the tragedy of the past week. To think of all we lost is unbelievable.

The children and their parents lost precious lives, all the while begging for help from police, who were ordered to not encounter the madman. The details of the police procedure are being disseminated by the press. Every image is heart breaking. The trust so many had that their kids were protected, that's lost as well.

It's beyond time to get the legislators to work on all aspects of gun control. Even Mitchy-pooh has garbled the words of "red flag law" support, which alone is as if the Four Horsemen are thundering our way...

I'm not Debi Downer, but I AM Kalamity Kim!

Forgive me, please and pray for peace,

Kimmy
