Remote Experience

This remote has
controlled my life
for so long!
The one thing I'm going to splurge on with my economic stimulus check is a new remote control for my Magnavox television. Since Daniel gave it to me five years ago, the remote control has gone through hundreds of AAA batteries. Something is wrong with it, it's zapped those batteries. So, I ordered a new remote and cannot await its arrival. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Another item I am going to splurge upon is getting myself a new bed. At this point, I am going to use an airbed. I have used air beds before, and I like their comfort and ability to be moved around easily.
I want a pillow in every
beetle color!

I have also indulged on good food for myself in the last few days. I ordered scallops and shrimp from Schwan's, sandwiches from Ranadas and Columbia's Express has a pretty decent hamburger too, by the way.

I yam stimulating the economy with my little bit of money, sweet potatoes, but most of it is going to restaurants, I must admit. I do need a vacuum cleaner, and I'm looking into them as well.

Also, I have made an appointment with a Telehealth doctor, and my first appointment is tomorrow morning. I am eager to begin that relationship, since I think a new doctor is just what I need about right now.
I am so proud of my
beautiful granddaughters!

I have applied for Medicaid so that Medicare will stop taking $150 from me every month, and I cannot get all of the paperwork to the right people at the right time, it seems. I have taken photographs today of everything from my Medicare card to my ID to send to someone and hope they get my Medicaid approved. Please say a little prayer for me, will you?
Peace,
Kimmy
