It is easy to make a mask out of a sock, with no sewing required just a few Snips with the scissors and do you have a mask to put over your ears and over your face, and it is great for protecting you from the hacking and coughing of other people who do not even attempt to cover their mouths when they cough.
Something similar to a mask is a beard. I, for one, do not like the current trend of younger men growing their beards down to their bellies, and thinking that that's sexy for some reason. I prefer to see how pretty a man's face is, and I don't need to brush up against a musty, moldy, and possibly parasite ridden hairy ball on somebody's chin when I go to give them a kiss. I dated a guy briefly about five years ago, it was a online date through plenty of fish.com. He was a cutie pie, but after five years, he has grown a beard, and even though he keeps contacting me, I have no interest. They stink. They are scrunchy up next to my face. And is like making love to a Brillo pad. Who needs that?
However, if growing a beard or a mustache will prevent someone from catching the coronavirus, I am all for it.
Also, if it prevents them from spreading the virus, catching the dirty germ in the dirty beard, then hell yeah, I'm all for that, too. However, I have no desire to be up next to someone with a beard. It just grosses me out. Yes, my legs are hairy and that probably grosses a lot of men out as well, and for that I shall be eternally glad.

Brave future CNA Shelby |
My granddaughter turns 26 in a few days, and I really wish that I could hug her and see her and bake a cake for her. However, I know she is enjoying her life as a new wife with a new family in Northern Kentucky, and she will have a joyous birthday. I am thrilled for Melody because she has become a Catholic since she married Johan and now celebrates Christmas, and more!

Sammy and Mawmaw |
My grandson, Samuel, is 18, and should be graduating from my old high school Conner high school and Hebron Kentucky. He is an adorable guy, my one grandchild who always gave me a hug even if he was in the middle of his football team LOL. I will never forget him doing that, and I was so proud of him for not being ashamed of me. That may be the last time that that will ever happen to me, but I still treasure it.
My granddaughter Shelby, who married in October, is working on the weekends as a nurse in training, she is in school to become a CNA. I worry about her every weekend when she puts on a face mask and goes to treat people who are suffering. Melody is a flight attendant and has been grounded for a while, but I assumed soon she will be back in the air, and my fear is that she will be exposed to a number of nasty germs out there. I guess our new normal will be full of face masks, no beards LOL, and social distancing. I guess we'll all need a 6ft long stick to carry around so we can keep people at a distance. For me, that is just fine. I mean, I am a friendly gal, but lately I do not want to talk to anybody. I just want to sit in my apartment and listen to my choir music. Until we can go back to choir and go back to church, I am a little bit depressed. I watch the same news people everyday, and I get pissed off at the same people on the social media platforms that I follow, the people who insist that their opinion is right and mine is wrong.
Those people piss me off, isn't that ironic? LOL
