It's Friday. Where's my cocktail?

One thing is for certain. When the world is experiencing a pandemic and we are all required to stay in our homes, the days all run together and Friday seems like Thursday. Without choir practice on Thursday, everyday feels like Thursday or Wednesday or any day but what the day really is! Is it frustrating?

Oh hell yes, it's frustrating.

I did my laundry today for the first time in over a week, and I ended up getting yelled at by a frail little man a young man, who waited and waited for me to return to get my wash so that he could unload on me for taking his clothes out of the only washer and putting it in a dryer for him. We live in a building with over 400 people, and there is only one working washer, and I did wait 15 minutes before I took his wash out ... but he called me a bitter old hag.

I called him a frail man and I was sorry that he couldn't get his lazy ass up and get his wash out on time during a pandemic.

At any rate, I am not proud of myself for getting angry with him and saying mean things, but I did not call him an old hag. I did call him frail, and that is hilarious, and I also mimicked him perfectly. Yes, I was mean today, and I'm not proud of myself. However, if I had it to do over I would not change a thing. During a pandemic, you do not hog the only washer in a building such as ours.

My foot is asleep so I'm going to shut up now and go make myself a sundae.

Love, peace, and Tide Pods!
Kimmy
