The Fells Celebrate the Wearin' O' The Green at The Chase Tap Room ♣

I don't know about you, but on St. Patrick's day, more than anything, I want to hear Irish music.  I wanna hear a nice Irish beer chuggin' sea shanty.  Oh, and My Wild Irish Rose, because that's just a family tradition, along with Oh Danny Boy...and all the Finian's Rainbow songs...the list just goes on and on.  So it's cool to know there's live Celtic music coming to a pub near you.  You can celebrate St. Patrick's Day tomorrow with your friends at The Chase Tap Room when they host Irish/Celtic band THE FELLS, who will perform LIVE @ The Chase for St. Patrick's Day, beginning at 9pm.

The Fells combine the raw energy of a vocal-based, pub band with the instrumental virtuosity displayed by the great Celtic bands that emerged in the 60's folk revival. While they are firmly rooted in this tradition, the band also brings a thoroughly modern sensibility to the jigs, reels, and airs of the British Isles. In the Fells' songwriting, the themes are both current and universal: good times, bad times, family, love, loss, and striving. This music is, in a word, fun.
